I am married to my wife Ellen. We have been married for 39 years

We have four children and six granchildren

We live in Central Florida where there are many opportunities to play the Mountain Dulcimer.

I currently own 5 dulcimers.

I have been playing the Mountain Dulcimer for over six years. I play with several dulcimer groups and we often play for the public.

My love for the mountain dulcimer brought me to writing the story of Homer the dulcimer. My first book 'Dulcimer X'ing' introduces Homer and the various characters that Homer interacts with. There will be more books in the series dedicated to following the adventures of Homer as he tries to get everyone to accept this simple instrument.

I am currently working on a Teacher's guide to be able to use the book in your reading curriculum.
