Book Trailer

August 15, 2010
Today I decided to see if I could create a book trailer for Dulcimer X'ing. After spending several hours working on the project I was able to create the book trailer and post it to YouTube. You can check out the book trailer by clicking on the Dulcimer X'ing tab and scrolling down and clicking on the YouTube link. I have also posted a link on Everything Dulcimer. I hope you like it. This is just my first attempt at doing anything like this and it was a blast to learn.

I have been working on my Recipes page. I have the link up to purchase the cookbook from my e-store or you can purchase from Amazon.com by clicking on the link I have set up. Even though the cookbook is done there is a lot of maintenance I have to do on the website to get it current. I am really enjoying keeping the website going and I hope everyone is enjoying visiting.

August 1, 2010
I cannot believe how long it has actually taken me to completely the new cookbook. After completion I submitted the book to the publisher and waited for the proof. I have resubmitted and now I have to wait for approval and then order another proof for another review. This is part of the whole book ...

Spent the day with the Grandkids

April 1, 2010
Well it is spring break time here in Florida. So we had a chance to have the grandkids come over and spend some time with us. We took them up to Steven Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs. We all had a great time. It was fun introducing them to something non-electric or non-handheld! They took the history lesson in stride and enjoyed learning about a music writer. We took them down to the Suwannee river to show them where Steven Foster got his river name from for his song. ...

New Flyer

March 30, 2010
This past week I worked hard on putting together a flyer to tell the story of the adventures of Homer the dulcimer. I am just computer enough savvy to be dangerous. Using a standard word document program I was able to use a flyer template to create my flyer. It is two-sided and in color. It was a lot of fun to do and it looks very professional. I will be using the flyers a lot in marketing. First off they will be at the Librarian conference coming up next week. Hopefully they will find homes ...
